Thanks Beat. Some interesting background there, but I wonder if Bey shouldn't have left most of that info for the dvd commentary?

Didn't know the Macao problem changed the entire storyline. I was wondering what happened  to that group of fighters that they'd said were going to be in the film.

That sounds really, bloody boring. A bunch of schmoes, who aren't Donnie and his crew, schlubbing around in some gym. Pbbt.

They had bits of footage from Donnie and his guys working out and practicing on the original, why didn't they use the rest of what they had of that?

HKFlix has the DD dvd version of Flash Point being released on April 22. I suppose this goes for anywhere you buy dvd's. But no details on the extras. I guess we go by Bey's description.

Well so far all that's known is it sounded like we've got Dragon commentary [] and then a featurette on the various styles employed in the action by some MAists and Kea Wong.

Actually, it sounded more like an interview than commentary. Doesn't sound like Donnie goes for the length of the film, unfortunately. The rest? Meh. I can pretty much gather what MMA is without all that noise and Donnie-lessness. What's the point of taking Donnie's film and showing me a bunch of people, one of whom DD is trying to promote, and showing me MMA? The best package DD ever put together was SPL (KillZone) and they haven't topped it since. It should have been an easy template to follow.

I just like trailers, is all. Even if I have seen the movie. And the fight scenes about ten times more than the actual movie.

Yeah, I want to see what they do with the cover and all that. Should be neat.
